5K Reindeer Run and Free one-mile Candy Cane Run Sponsored by Olympia-Thurston County CrimeStoppers, the event raises awareness for Crime Stoppers and proceeds help pay for cash rewards for tips. The fee for the 5k race is $30, but the one-mile run is free. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the run kicks off at 9 a.m. Dec. 9 at Hands On Children’s Museum, 414 Jefferson St. NE, Olympia.
