zonta of olympia murder mystery dinner fundraiser Zonta of Olympia has partnered with Harlequin Productions to host the dinner from 5:30-9 p.m. Oct. 27 at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club, 5900 Troon Lane S.E., Olympia. Tickets are $75, or $65 for early birds. Call 360-556-2619 for details.

South bay pta dinner auction An evening of food and fun, with music and fundraising for students of South Bay Elementary. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave. S.E., Lacey. Cost is $25 until Oct. 19.

Lincoln options’ annual library fundraiser Browse books and toys at the school’s sale from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Nov. 3-4 at 213 21st Ave. SE, Olympia. Call Donna at 360-596-6402 for details.

Mother Joseph Care Center 21st Annual Holiday Bazaar Proceeds benefit the residents’ council fund. The bazaar runs from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Nov. 9 at Mother Joseph Care Center, 3333 Ensign Road NE, Olympia. Tables are available for vendors. Call Penny Hyer at 360-493-4634.

5K Reindeer Run and Free one-mile Candy Cane Run Sponsored by Olympia-Thurston County CrimeStoppers, the event raises awareness for Crime Stoppers and proceeds help pay for cash rewards for tips. The fee for the 5k race is $30, but the one-mile run is free. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the run kicks off at 9 a.m. Dec. 9 at Hands On Children’s Museum, 414 Jefferson St. NE, Olympia. Santa will hand out candy canes and jingle bells to all runners, and long-sleeve tech tees to all registered 5k runners.
