Tumwater school with history of predicting presidents posts results of mock election
Lisa Pemberton, staff writerBlack Hills High School students have a reputation of accurately predicting the next president through their mock elections. In regards to the presidential election, I think weve called it every time, said social studies teacher George Rother. About a dozen candidates and campaign representatives for several political races including president, governor, legislative district and secretary of state participated in the the Tumwater school's Candidates Forum on Friday. Afterward, the students voted in a mock election. Final counts showed the Obama-Biden ticket winning with 447 votes. Romney-Ryan received 225 votes.
