Lacey student to perform with “Wicked” actors at Seattle event

River Ridge High School senior Olivia Maassen will join theater professionals onstage for “Making Magic, Defying Gravity” 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5, at Roosevelt High School, 1410 N.E. 66th St., Seattle.

The event will include music and a behind-the-curtain look at “Wicked,” featuring professionals from Walt Disney Creative Entertainment and members of the Broadway musical’s national touring company.

Eight students in the region were chosen to participate in the event which will benefit the Educational Theatre Association’s student scholarship fund.

Tickets are $15, and are available at the door or at schooltheatre.org/events/makingmagic/seattle.
