A nude woman was arrested Tuesday outside Big Lots in Lacey after she tried on a coat, then dropped it as she fled, according to Lacey police.

Sgt. Adam Seig said he arrested the woman on suspicion of indecent exposure after 3 p.m. when officers saw her, unclothed, running in and out of traffic in the parking lot.

Witnesses said the woman took her clothes off before entering the store, Seig said. She seemed disoriented, he said.

The woman did not have identification, said Seig, who estimates that she’s in her early 30s. She was booked at the Nisqually Jail, he said.
