Pedestrian struck by vehicle in downtown Olympia

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Water Street about 2 p.m. near Traditions Cafe Wednesday afternoon.

Olympia police were interviewing the driver of the vehicle. The female pedestrian was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
