Olympia police seek suspect in robbery at home on west side

A woman said she woke about midnight Wednesday to find a masked intruder holding a butcher knife at the foot of her bed at her home on Olympia’s west side.

According to Olympia police:

The man demanded that she give him money; she complied. She talked about it Thursday morning with a neighbor, who called police.

Neighbors reported seeing two men leaving the area about the time of the incident.

Police have several people of interest, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 360-704-2740 or Thurston County Crime Stoppers at 360-493-2222.
