SWAT team arrests man in Tumwater

UPDATE: A man who barricaded himself in a home in Tumwater gave himself up about 5 p.m. Friday after he was surrounded by the Thurston County SWAT Team.

No one was injured, Tumwater Police Det. Jen Kolb said.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Thurston County SWAT team was assisting the Tumwater Police Department after a man barricaded himself inside a home on Kirsop Road Southwest about 1:45 p.m. Friday

The SWAT team was on scene as of about 4:45 p.m. Kolb said she thinks the man is wanted for a warrant in connection with a burglary out of Lewis County.
