Former Russell Investments executive joins Heritage Financial board

Ann Watson, who spent 15 years at Russell Investments, including time spent as the company's chief human resources officer, has joined the board of directors at Heritage Financial Corp., the bank-holding company for Heritage Bank.

Prior to Russell Investments, Watson spent seven years with Chemical Bank/Manufacturers Hanover in New York. She has an MBA degree from Columbia University.

“Ms. Watson’s background in the financial services industry will add valuable expertise as the board and management team continue to expand our organization into new markets," Heritage Financial board chair Donald Rhodes said in a statement.
