Belmonte, Clarkson, Pumphrey win distinguished leadership awards

Patty Belmonte, Virgil Clarkson and Dr. Gerald Pumphrey have won distinguished leadership awards for 2013 as selected by Leadership Thurston County, a Thurston County Chamber Foundation leadership training program.

Belmonte is executive director of the Hands On Children's Museum, Clarkson is mayor of Lacey and Pumphrey is president of South Puget Sound Community College.

All three will be honored at a leadership celebration event, which is set for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Saint Martin's Worthington Center. For more information, contact program coordinator Patti Grant at 360-357-8515 or LTC@ThurstonChamber.com.
