Defensive rebounding

T he loss of Shawn Kemp Jr. for six to eight weeks is a blow to an already lightweight Washington frontcourt. Issues may not be as glaring during non-conference play, but the upper tier of the Pacific-12 Conference – UCLA and Arizona – have huge frontcourts. Kemp’s return and the possibility of Austin Seferian-Jenkins playing on the team again will add some much needed beef, but not until January.
