Name some streets after the Oly Rollers

While we were all focused on the elections, something amazing happened. Your team, the Oly Rollers, has brought honor to Olympia once again. The Oly Rollers came in second to New York City team, Gotham, in the 2012 Woman’s Flat Track Roller Derby Championships.

For the last four years the Oly Rollers have been in the top two teams in the world. In 2009, the Oly Rollers were number one. Teams from all over the country and Canada have come to Olympia to compete with them.

We should be naming streets for them. There should be signs on the roads into town telling people that Olympia is the “Home of the Oly Rollers.”

I am proud of the Oly Rollers.
