Lacey police and fire departments showdown will benefit programs for needy

Lacey police officers will be challenging Lacey Fire District No. 3 firefighters to a charity basketball game Friday night to benefit the Adopt-A-Family and Make My Day programs.

The 15th annual game is at 7 p.m. Friday at the Marcus Pavilion at Saint Martin's University. There will also be a silent auction.

Admission is $5 per person. Tickets are available at Lacey Fire Station 31, 1231 Franz St. S.E. or the Lacey Police Department, 420 College St. S.E. Tickets will also be available at the door Friday night.
