More sin taxes ahead for state seeking money

I am a third-generation Washingtonian who grew up in Olympia. That was “back in the good old days” before Washington became state.

What is the biggest concern of our politicians? Revenue. And does the sale of booze, in almost every grocery store, drug store and dedicated booze stores bring in some of that revenue, along with gambling, legalized OT sales, etc?

We should celebrate same-sex marriage as the merchants will sell more wedding attire and bring in more revenue – and that is all that matters?

What’s next? Leagalized prostitution? More sin taxes? Yes, money is the root of all evil.
