Search for home-invasion suspect leads to lockdown of Nisqually Middle School



Nisqually Middle School was put on lockdown for about 30 minutes because of police activity in the area, according to North Thurston School District communications director Courtney Schrieve.

The school was locked down as Thurston County Sheriff's deputies searched the area for a suspect who might have been connected to a home invasion, Schrieve said.

The lockdown was lifted about 9:45 a.m.
