Heritage Financial announces special dividend for shareholders

The bank-holding company for Heritage Bank continues to be in a giving mood, announcing a 30-cent special dividend for shareholders. The dividend is payable on Dec. 6 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 26.

"With this special dividend year-to-date cash dividends total 80 cents per common share," Heritage Financial President and Chief Executive Brian Vance said in a statement. "We continue to manage our strong capital position through a combination of cash dividend strategies, share repurchases, organic growth and acquisitions."
