L&I sets dates for free workshop

The state Department of Labor and Industries is set to have a free workshop this month, and in January, that will cover L&I information for business owners and managers.

The workshop will cover workers' compensation, wage and hour rules, workplace safety requirements and contractor registration rules.

The first workshop is 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 27 and 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 23. Both will be held at L&I's Tumwater office, 7273 Linderson Way S.W. 98501.
