A signing ceremony is scheduled Monday to kick off a dual-admission agreement between South Puget Sound Community College and Saint Martin’s University nursing programs.

Saint Martin’s president Roy Heynderickx and SPSCC president Gerald Pumphrey will ink the deal at noon Monday at SPSCC's main campus in Olympia, according to a Saint Martin’s news release.

The agreement will give SPSCC nursing students an opportunity to apply for dual admission to Saint Martin’s Registered Nurse-to-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (known as RN-to-BSN) program.

Students who qualify will be able to receive academic advising from Saint Martin’s. And once they graduate from SPSCC and pass the registered nurse licensing exam, they will be granted full admission to Saint Martin’s RN-to-BSN program.
