DUI saturation patrols begin in Thurston County, will last through Jan. 1
Thurston County law enforcement agencies were set to begin participating Wednesday night in DUI saturation patrols that will continue through Jan. 1. Police in Lacey, Olympia, Tenino, Tumwater and Yelm, along with the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol and Chehalis Tribal Police Department, are part of the effort. The Washington Traffic Safety Commission and Thurston County’s Target Zero Traffic Safety Task Force are sponsoring the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
