An unpaid debt led to a home-invasion robbery early Friday morning, Olympia police say.

The robbery was reported at 1:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Evergreen Park Drive, according to an Olympia Police Department news release. According to the release:

Two men went into an apartment armed with a shotgun and confronted the two tenants, a man and woman. The men left after taking “several items of personal property.” No one was hurt.

Police think the robbery began with a dispute among the four people over an unpaid debt. The incident is under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Olympia police at 360-753-8300 or Thurston County Crime Stoppers at 360-493-2222.
