Capital's Kai Van Sickle become's the state's all-time single-season rushing leader after his 162-yard performance Friday in a 48-21 loss to Lynden in the 2A state semifinals at the Tacoma Dome. In 12 games, Van Sickle rushed for 2,761 yards to surpass Interlake's Jordan Todd (2,681 yards in 2011). In this video, Van Sickle gets the record on a 37-yard TD run -- his longest run of the game -- that put Capital on the scoreboard at 34-7 with 10 minutes, 21 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
