Class 2A state title game

Tickets: $15 for adults, $11 for seniors and students. NOTE: Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster or Tumwater High School starting Monday, as well as the Tacoma Dome the day of the game.
Road to the title game: Tumwater defeated Steilacoom (45-22), Archbishop Murphy (21-0), and Prosser (35-21) to reach the title game for the second time in three years and sixth time in program history. Lynden defeated Mark Morris (42-14), Sumner (42-7) and Capital (48-21) to reach the title game for the fifth time in seven years and 10th time in program history.
Did you know?: Lynden is 8-1 against 2A Evergreen Conference teams since 2006, including a 48-21 win over Capital in last Friday's 2A semifinal. Its only loss? To Tumwater.
Last time they met: 2010 – Tumwater defeated Lynden, 21-10, in Bellingham in the first round on its way to winning the 2A state title.
