The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of a body found in a burned-out Ford Bronco on Tuesday morning in Capitol State Forest.

The body was in the driver’s seat and has not been identified, police said.

Accelerants were found in the car, police said. The autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

A Department of Natural Resources worker spotted the vehicle on fire on E-Line Road about 9 a.m., according to KIRO-TV.
