Olympia man, 62, hurt in 1-vehicle crash on U.S. 101

An Olympia man was hurt in a one-car crash at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Also according to the patrol:

The man, 62, was driving a 2010 Jeep Patriot south on U.S. Highway 101 at Black Lake Boulevard when he veered off the left shoulder, striking a cable barrier. He was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. The State Patrol didn’t name him.

The man was wearing a seat belt. The cause of the crash is unknown; alcohol or drugs did not play a role.
