Downtown will beckon with new meters

T his is to express my appreciation to the Olympia mayor and the City Council for recently approving the replacement of the current parking meters downtown. I believe the re-installation of the individual handier “pay” meters will be a major improvement. I look forward to once again in the future being able to access the downtown businesses, which I have refrained from using over the past two years because of the difficulty experienced with the larger, useless meters currently in place.
