Rolf Boone/The Business Blog

An Indianapolis-based commercial real estate company that has ties to Amazon.com has purchased 92 acres of raw land in DuPont, according to a Puget Sound Business Journal story.

Duke Realty paid $26.1 million for the fully permitted property.

Duke opened a Seattle-area office five years ago, according to the story, and has also developed at least two industrial facilities for Amazon, including a 1-million-square-foot distribution center in Middletown, Del.

The commercial real estate company has 139 million square feet of industrial, office and medical office properties throughout the country.
