Supreme Court opinions in Schaller case are here
Brad ShannonGo hereand hereto find the Washington state Supreme Court's two opinions today that said Christine Schaller of Tacoma can indeed serve as Superior Court judge in Olympia. The court’s majority and concurring opinions upheld a lower court ruling, which had rejected arguments advanced on behalf of the candidates Schaller defeated in this year’s elections. Jeremy Pawlosky, reporter for The Olympian, rounds up the story here. Schaller grew up in Olympia and is a long-time Superior Court commissioner who ran for a vacant seat on the court.
