Lacey police officers are investigating a shooting that happened in the parking lot of a Lacey bar early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the parking lot of Beau Legs Restaurant and Lounge in the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue, the former location of The PlayPen Bar, at 1:35 a.m., according to Lt. Phil Comstock.

When police arrived, everyone involved in the shooting had left the parking lot.

A man police believe may have been involved in the shooting was dropped off at a hospital in Tacoma with gunshot wounds later in the morning, but refused to cooperate with police.

"All we know is he was dropped off at a hospital in Tacoma, received some basic treatment for a superficial wound and detectives responded there and attempted to interview him there," Comstock said. "He denied all involvement or even being in Lacey."

No other injuries have been reported. No suspects have been identified in the shooting, Comstock said.

Police were still at the scene at 7:30 a.m. collecting evidence.
