Shipping news: Coreship OL to follow M/V Star Herdla

Two ships are expected at the Port of Olympia's marine terminal next week, starting with the M/V Star Herdla Monday and the Coreship OL Tuesday. The Herdla will deliver a shipment of bagged ceramic products from China, while the Coreship will load logs and then depart for Japan.

Here are the ship visit details:

M/V Star Herdla

-Flag: Norway.

-Cargo: About 5,500 metric tons of bagged ceramic proppants.

-Work schedule: day and night shift Monday; day shift Tuesday.

Coreship OL

-Flag: Taiwan.

-Cargo: About 5.5 million board feet of Weyerhaeuser logs.

-Destination: Kashima, Japan.

-Work schedule: day shifts Monday through Friday.
