Capital Medical Center and Olympia Orthopaedic Associates will compete to see which organization can compile the most donations. The winner will be announced on Dec. 28.
The ninth Annual Illuminated Ball One of South Sound’s most beloved fundraising events will be from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. Feb. 2 at the Eagle’s Grand Ballroom, 805 Fourth Ave. E., Olympia. Proceeds benefit the Procession of the Species in April. The ball is a formal event featuring dance, music, and luminary performances by local artists. There will be appetizers and libations.
