Tumwater School Board to be recognized as a "board of distinction"

The Tumwater School Board will be recognized as a “board of distinction” during its meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at the district office board room, 621 Linwood Ave. SW, Tumwater. The award will be presented by Phil Gore with the Washington State School Directors’ Association.

Other agenda items include updates on Outdoor Education, the budget and capital projects in the Tumwater School District. The board also will elect its officers for 2013.
