W.F. West, led by a game-high 20 points from 6-foot-3 senior center Jamika Parker, held Tumwater to a season-low 27 points in its 68-27 2A Evergreen Conference victory over the Thunderbirds in girls basketball. Ashley Christoffer paced the T-Birds with eight points.

Nathan Anderson (50 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and Scott Harn (200 free, 100 free) combined for four of North Thurston’s nine victories in a 119-67 3A Narrows League boys swimming dual win over Wilson. Harn and Anderson also teamed up in the Rams’ winning 200 free and 400 free relays.

Olympia dominated in its 138-28 non-league boys swimming dual win over River Ridge, winning all 11 events. Garrett Carson (200 IM, 100 butterfly) and Wes Murry (50 free, 100 free) each were double individual event winners. www.theolympian.com/southsoundsports
