Friday’s highlights

Timberline raced out to an early 22-point lead on Foss on its way to a 57-14 victory over the Falcons in 3A Narrows League girls basketball action. Sarah McKee led all scorers with 12 points and Nia Warner had 10 for the Blazers.

After a low-scoring first half and trailing by three points, North Thurston’s fourth-quarter comeback fell short in a 53-46 loss to Lincoln. Kajana Fernandus had 12 points to lead the Rams and Alisha Feliciano added 11.

Led by Josh Newell’s 19 points, Black Hills remains unbeaten in the 2A Evergreen Conference boys basketball standings after a 64-53 road victory over Centralia. Six-foot-6 forward Jacob Burgess had 16 points and Josh Ifanse had 11 for the Wolves, who are winners of three of their past four.

Cal commit Ahmaad Rorie had a game-high 28 points and Colorado signee Tre’Shaun Fletcher scored 22 as Lincoln topped North Thurston, 90-56, in Lacey. The Rams had three players in double figures, led by Tru Hicks’ 17 points and Ande Grantham’s 16.

Junior Donaven Dorsey scored 30 points, but Timberline dropped its second consecutive 3A Narrows League game, this time to Foss, 80-66. Dezmyn Trent led Foss with 22 points.
