Time to stop harm by City Hall campers

For months, people have been sleeping outside the front doors of Olympia City Hall, and the City Council has looked the other way. No harm was being done, so why call foul?

But now there is harm. People are leaving used hypodermic needles, used condoms and human excrement behind.

Last week, one camper’s dog lunged at a city employee and ripped her coat as she was trying to enter the building.

It’s time for the Olympia City Council to wrestle up some courage and common sense, and put a stop to this.

Enough is enough.
