No. 5 Notre Dame 100, Alabama A&M 39: Kayla McBride scored 16 points to lead four teammates in double figures as the Fighting Irish (7-1) cruised past the Bulldogs (1-6) in the first round of the World Vision Classic in Las Vegas.

Skylar Diggins and Whitney Holloway had 15 points each for Notre Dame, which was coming off a 109-70 win over Utah State and reached 100 points in consecutive games for the first time in school history.

At No. 2 Connecticut 97, Oakland 25: Bria Hartley and Breanna Stewart each scored 21 points, and Brianna Banks had 18 to help keep the Huskies (9-0) unbeaten with the win over the Golden Grizzlies (5-6).
