A storage container burned down on property south of Rochester early Wednesday morning. No one was hurt.

Crews from West Thurston Regional Fire Authority were called to the 9200 block of 192nd Lane Southwest about 1 p.m. to find the container engulfed in flames. It was one of several on the property, said firefighter Rob Smith.

“We had it knocked out in about five minutes,” he said.

The cause of the fire is undetermined. An engine, a water tender and a command unit responded with assistance from the McLane Black Lake Fire Department.
