Atlanta offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter has withdrawn his name for consideration for any head coaching vacancies, the Falcons announced on Wednesday.

Koetter reportedly signed a one-year contract extension after meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday. He had also been scheduled to meet with Cleveland and Philadelphia.

The Falcons' offense, led by quarterback Matt Ryan, ranked seventh in the NFL in scoring average (26.2 points) and churned out 369.1 yards per game en route to securing the NFC's top seed in the playoffs.
