Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts cornerback Vontae Davis and Tennessee kick returner Darius Reynaud have been chosen as the AFC's top players for Week 17 of the NFL season.

Manning picked up the offensive award for the second time this season after throwing for 304 yards with three touchdowns in a 38-3 rout of Kansas City. His 144.8 passer rating was the best for an AFC quarterback this season and the performance helped Denver wrap up the top seed in the AFC playoffs.

After previously winning the award in Week 6, Manning now has 23 player of the week honors to tie Tom Brady for the most since the institution of the system in 1984.

Davis became the third Colt honored defensively this season, as he tied a career best with two interceptions in a 28-16 victory over Houston. His first pick set up a Colts touchdown and his second came in the end zone in the fourth quarter to thwart a Houston scoring opportunity.

Reynaud also earned his second special teams award of the season, having previously captured the honor in Week 3. This past Sunday, he returned three punts for 160 yards and tied an NFL record with two punt returns for touchdowns in a 38-20 win over Jacksonville.
