Dr. Michael Novia of Capital Medical Center is set to teach two breast health seminars Jan. 16 in the main classroom at Capital Medical Center.

The seminars are 2 to 3 p.m. and again at 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 16.

Novia, a plastic surgeon, will discuss the latest technologies and breakthroughs in breast reconstruction following a mastectomy, lumpectomy and radiation treatment, according to a news release.

The seminars are open to the general public, but due to the nature of the topic, the hospital asks that adults only attend. The hospital also asks that reservations be made by Jan. 14 due to limited space. To make a reservation, call 800-798-5143. Capital Medical Center is at 3900 Capital Mall Drive S.W., Olympia.

The hospital classroom is located off the main hospital entrance past the volunteer reception desk.
