Capital Medical Center hosting breast health seminars

Capital Medical Center is hosting two free breast health seminars Jan. 16.

The hour-long seminars will begin at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.. at the hospital's main classroom, taught by board certified plastic surgeon Michael Novia, M.D., according to a news release.

Novia will discuss the latest technologies and breakthroughs in breast reconstruction surgery following mastectomy, lumpectomy and radiation treatment. Information about BRAVA external tissue expansion, breast reduction and general cosmetic breast surgery will also be discussed.

The release asked only adults attend the seminar. Anyone interested in attending are asked to make reservations by Jan. 14 by calling 800-798-5143.

Capital Medical Center is at 3900 Capital Mall Drive S.W. in Olympia.
