Capital Medical Center informs on breast health

Capital Medical Center is hosting two free breast health seminars Jan. 16.

The hour-long seminars will begin at 2 and 6 p.m., at the hospital’s main classroom, taught by board-certified plastic surgeon Michael Novia, M.D., according to a news release.

Novia will discuss the latest technologies and breakthroughs in breast reconstruction surgery following mastectomy, lumpectomy and radiation treatment. Information about external tissue expansion, breast reduction and general cosmetic breast surgery will also be discussed.

Only adults are invited; they may make reservations by Jan. 14 by calling 800-798-5143.

Capital Medical Center is at 3900 Capital Mall Drive SW in Olympia.
