Gun control still front and center

V ice President Joe Biden jumped into the controversy surrounding gun control this week, meeting with a wide variety of interest parties. That group included the National Rifle Association, which is opposing any efforts to curb access to firearms. Meanwhile, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced he would seek new, tougher bans on assault weapons in his state’s gun control laws, which are among the strongest in the nation.
