The state Liquor Control Board today announced it would hold six public forums around the state, starting in Olympia, for people to learn about and testify on the implementation of Initiative 502.

Voters passed the law last November to regulate marijuana much like alcohol. That will require licenses and regulations for growers, producers and sellers, and that's where the liquor board comes in.
