Three people were taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover crash near the Capitol Campus.

Olympia police and fire crews were called to Capitol Way and Sid Snyder Avenue about 3:15 p.m. Tuesday after one car T-boned another, causing it to roll onto its top, said Deputy Fire Chief Greg Wright.

The roadway was blocked for more than an hour.

“It’s not the kind of place we would normally expect a rollover,” Wright said. “The dynamics were just right, and every once in a while we’ll get one of those in-city low-speed streets where you wouldn’t expect to get rollovers.”
