She appreciates judge’s conviction on marriage

I appreciate the stand of Judge Gary Tabor in refusing to marry same-sex couples, stated in The Olympian article of Jan. 9, 2013. So much is called “intolerance” that is actually “conviction” on the part of Christians and others who do not support same-sex marriage.

I often wonder why those with the conviction that same-sex marriages are wrong biblically and physically are sued and criticized as though they were imposing their convictions on the same-sex folks.

It is the same-sex people who continually try to impose their convictions on others who do not agree with them. They have the right to do and live as they please without insisting that those with differing convictions be vilified or forced to do their bidding.

I support and honor Judge Gary Tabor’s choice on this issue. Other judges have the right to choose differently if they wish.
