Community invited to celebrate King's legacy Friday at Saint Martin's
Lisa Pemberton, staff writerSaint Martins University will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Norman Worthington Conference Center, 5300 Pacific Ave. S.E., Lacey.The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature remarks by university student body president Tyler Calvi and university president Roy Heynderickx. There also will be a free dinner, music and a performance by spoken word poet Chas Jackson.
