Boys basketball: After snapping a four-game losing skid Friday night, Olympia looks to win its second straight game, as it takes on Todd Beamer to tip-off the King Holiday Hoopfest boys and girls basketball tournament.

Thursday
Wrestling: Can Yelm end South Kitsap’s 189-dual match winning streak that dates back to December 1992? The Wolves’ last loss in the Narrows League came against North Thurston 20 years ago.

Women’s college basketball: Saint Martin’s sits in tied for sixth place in the GNAC standings as it wraps up the first half of league play this weekend against the Alaska schools. First up: Alaska Anchorage.

Girls basketball: Olympia looks to pull into a tie with Yelm for second place in the 4A Narrows League with a road win over the Tornados, which have already upset league-leader Bellarmine Prep.
