U.S. Rep. Denny Heck devotes first floor speech to Olympia baseball coach Todd McDougall

• Published January 22, 2013

U.S. Rep. Denny Heck gave his first floor speech Tuesday in the House, and he used his time to ask for support for Olympia High School baseball coach and English teacher Todd McDougall, who was diagnosed last month with an inoperable brain cancer. Heck is an Olympia Democrat in the state’s new 10th Congressional District.

Olympian political editor Brad Shannon wrote this blog post about Heck's speech, and also linked a video to Heck mentioning McDougall.
