Olympia School Board will discuss superintendent contract extension, strategic plan

The Olympia School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday (Jan 28) at McLane Elementary School, 200 Delphi Road SW, Olympia.

Agenda items include:

*A presentation about McLane Elementary School’s programs.

*Discussion and a possible vote on a proposed one-year extension of superintendent Dick Cvitanich’s contract. If approved, the new three-year term would expire June 30, 2016.

*An update on the district’s strategic plan.

*A presentation about the GRuB food growing program and its partnership with Olympia High School.
