Yay: Tenino clutter

Kudos to the City of Tenino for taking on seven nuisance properties. Nuisance properties reduce neighboring property values, and attract vermin and other unhealthy and unsavory activities. Every citizen has a responsibility to keep their property free of junk and debris. Leaving abandoned vehicles or appliances in the yard simply isn’t acceptable.

Although code enforcement can involve protracted legal battles between the public interest and property rights, the city of Tenino deserves credit for moving forward in this fashion.
